Ban Nuisance Claims Management Companies

However car insurance premiums continue to rise, despite promises from the insurance sector that premiums would be lowered following a "crackdown" on whiplash claims.
The majority of people making whiplash claims are honest people who have genuinely been injured and should not be penalised for the few bogus claims that are made every year.
Solicitors are banned from cold calling and texting the public. However there are still claims management companies out there who are plaguing people with the now familiar "Have you had an accident in the last three years?" text, usually as you sit down to eat dinner. People are fed up and rightly so. Brett Dixon, president of the Association of the Personal Injury Lawyers, says there needs to be a complete ban on cold calling from these nuisance claims management companies.
